Preview Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or any location in Sri Lanka. You will then be transferred to Mirissa, where you will have the opportunity to see the world's biggest mammals in their natural habitat on this 3-5 hour tour. Meet your guide at Mirissa Harbour in the morning and set out to sea. During this tour, you will have the chance to see blue whales, sperm whales, fin whales, occasional orcas, and various types of dolphins. As the boat approaches the whales, it will slow down to ensure optimal viewing
You will stop at a safe distance of at least 300 feet away, with the closest approach being at 100 feet, allowing you to observe the whales responsibly with minimal environmental impact. On board, a complimentary breakfast of sandwiches and fruits will be served, along with water and tea or coffee. Knowledgeable guides will be available to answer any questions you may have and assist you in spotting these magnificent creatures.
